Beauty is skin deep...

Have you ever considered the the fact that maybe...just maybe...beauty and worth are not found in a make-up bottle, or a salon-fresh hairstyle or a fabulous outfit? Maybe our sparkle comes from a deeper place than just our exterior, somewhere so pure and authentic and REAL, it doesn't need nail polish or gloss or glitter to shine. There are some things in life that you just cannot fake...you cannot fake being chic but you can be chic and fake fur! This though does not mean that you cannot ENHANCE your inner radiance. Sometimes a little goes a long way and sometimes its a case of go BIG or go HOME. As we mature in life we will learn that rules are meant to be broken, you have to be bold enough to live life on your own terms and never, ever apologize for it. You will never gain the approval of anybody by just begging for it. Stand confident in your own worth and respect will follow. Life will always hand you lemons, but its what you do with those lemons that really matters. There are  many things that you can wear to look and feel glamorous; 9 inch stilettos, a Little Black Dress(LBD) or sexy lingerie for that matter. Above all of these a smile still remains the best thing you can wear. The dictionary definition for beauty is the quality present in a thing or person that gives intense pleasure or deep satisfaction to the mind, whether arising from sensory manifestations or otherwise. My definition of beautiful is a woman who has a distinctive personality, one who can laugh at anything, including herself, who is especially kind and caring to others. She carries herself in an elegant manner, she lights up the room whenever she walks in. She is the type of woman who's presence is felt long after she has left. She lingers on. There is nothing more sexy than a woman who is intelligent and does not boast about it. She lets her success speak for itself. She knows what she wants and isn't afraid of working hard to get it- that is the true essence of woman. The late Maya Angelou said: " I've learnt that people will forget what you said and people will forget what you did  but they will never forget how you made them feel." Godfrey Winn also emphasizes the importance of woman by saying: "No man succeeds without a woman behind him. Wife or mother, if it is both, he is twice blessed indeed."
